Welcome to venkuro. This page explains how to set up your account, link your phone, record rides, and share your data with others.

1. Create your account

1. Go to the registration page.
2. Fill in your username, e-mail address and a password (at least 10 characters).
3. Click Create account.
4. Check your inbox for a confirmation e-mail and click the link inside.
5. You can now log in.

2. Install the app

The venkuro app sends data from your phone to the server in real time. It is available for Android:

• Download Venkuro (sender) — records and sends your ride data.
• Download Venkuro Viewer — follow cyclists on a map.

3. Link your device

1. Open the venkuro app on your phone and log in with your venkuro account.
2. Tap Link device. The app shows a 6-digit code.
3. On this website, go to My devices.
4. Enter the 6-digit code and click Link device.
5. Your device is now linked to your account.

4. Start a ride

1. In the app, make sure your sensors (power, cadence, heart rate) are connected via Bluetooth.
2. Tap START to begin recording.
3. The app sends data every second. You can watch the live map on the Viewer page.
4. Tap STOP when you finish. The ride is saved as an activity.

5. View your data

• Home — recent activities and active rides.
• My activities — full list with filters by date and device.
• Dashboard — totals and trends over a period.
• Viewer — live map of active rides.

6. Share your data

By default, your data is private. You decide who can see it.

1. Go to My devices and enable Public device for the devices you want to share.
2. Other users can now find you in the Users list and request access.
3. You receive their request on the Permissions page.
4. Click Grant to allow access, or Refuse to deny.
5. You can revoke access at any time — the request will show a Grant button again, so you can restore it if you change your mind.

7. Troubleshooting

The app says "Device is not registered".

Ask for a new pair code in the app, then enter it on the My devices page.

My device shows "no live data".

The ride is not active, or the app is not sending data. Check the app and your internet connection.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password. You will receive a reset link by e-mail.

I cannot find another user.

They may not have enabled Show my name and photo or Show my e-mail address on their profile.
